What started as a little holiday fun became so much more! I found a Pantone app and started to take photos of what I thought has nice colours, and then all of a sudden I have been seeing colour palettes EVERYWHERE.
I know this isn’t something new. But I am enjoying finding these little, sometimes hidden colours palettes in nature. I even started to do it in my own house as well (in the dry flowers I have for instance).
As someone who struggles with colour in my own work (I sometimes add too little and sometimes add too much), these palettes help me see the possibilities, and how can I expand on the colours I have chosen as sometimes I was going for the wrong darker shade. But by making these palettes I can actually see the family colours and can chose my colours more wisely.
All of these images and more that I could not put in this post are in my highlights on my Instagram under “Colour”. Please feel free to screenshot these and if you ever utilized from them do not forget to tag me, I would love to see what you create!
