First Substack Post!

Scary..

Beginnings are hard.

But hopefully everything will be ok. For those who are confused; I moved my newsletter to substack. It would mean a lot to me if you stick around. I won’t be sending emails from both so no double email spams from me, don’t worry! And you won’t have to do anything, you will just receive emails as usual from now on from Substack.

Why this, why now

I have seen so many of creators move their newsletter to Substack and I do not want to just rely on Instagram. I do have a small community on Patreon but that community is also coming from Instagram and we all roll our eyes on Instagram’s algorithm lately. I also wanted to give another option for those who wants to follow my creative journey but do not want to do it on Patreon. I will be sharing the same content here that I do on Patreon but that will be for the paid subscription.

What should you expect

My usual newsletter will be sent here occasionally here as usual (nothing will change about that) but I will also be posting my Patreon content for the paid subscriptions.

For the paid option you can expect:

I will be sharing everything that is going behind the scenes including processes (Procreate and traditional), shopping hauls, trying materials, monthly drawing prompts and so on. I am not sure if I can add the previous videos but I will slowly do that. There are already more than 60 videos up on Patreon so it will take some time. Watch this space.

You will also be added to my close friends list on Instagram in which I will be sharing more behind the scenes with more personal touch.

I do have another tier on Patreon in which send (worldwide) you a hand painted and signed postcard (you can ask if you want something specific to be drawn/illustrated on the postcard) every month in an envelope so you are free to fill it up and send it to your loved ones or do whatever you want with it. I also send another postcard in the envelope from my travels. I also share wallpapers for your phone/tablet at least once a month. However, this is not yet available here, so you would have to head to Patreon if you want to be subscribe to that tier.

Things I liked recently:

I have read Burial Rites by Hannah Kent, Lanny by Max Porter and Allison by Lizzy Stewart and really enjoyed them.

I am reading Manningtree Witches by A.K. Blackmore and loving it so far.

I have watched Daisy Jones and the Six on Amazon Prime and loved it! I still listen to the album and think about the story! I have to admit that I tried to read the book a few months ago but the format was just not for me.
