Hello fellow creatives, 

Hope you are having a good festive season and having plenty rest as the year comes to an end. 

There are so many cool challenges in January! Like Birbfest by April aka monkeymintaka!

I have done Birdtober last year in October and it was so much fun but as much as I love birds I just didnt wanted to draw birds all month, I might try a few birbs though. 

So instead, to take the pressure off, I thought we could draw everyday instead. I will be sharing reference photos, and suggestions and fun things you can try but honestly you are free to draw anything you want, even a doodle or a sketch BUT everyday! 

Emma Carlisle has drawn everyday last year in January, and she says she has seen a huge amount of growth. 

So lets draw together everyday for a month! And lets use the hashtag #draweverydayinjanuary2024 or tag me so I can see your work. 

I have never hosted a challenge before so bare with me as I smooth down the logistics (like I might share carousel posts as reference images weekly rather than daily, so you can choose whatever you want). 

I think it will be fun as we come out of the holiday haze! 

I will share the reference images on Patreon and will make it available for all tiers so even if you are on the lowest tier you still get access :) 

We start on the 1st of January!

P.S. I just want to stress out that there is never any pressure to draw everyday even though the challenge is called that. This challenge is supposed to be a little push to get out of the holiday haze while having fun. So dont worry if you miss days or leave it half way through, it is just supposed to be fun playing materials and getting something on that sketchbook together.
